Tejaswini Pagadala
Tejaswini Pagadala is currently working as Communications Officer at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office (APCMO. She writes the Chief Minister’s speeches, press releases from the CMO for the media, manage social media accounts of the Chief Minister, government and APCMO. She is a journalist by profession and has freelance for Al Jazeera Online, Yahoo Originals and several other news websites. She has worked with national dailies like The Hindu, Deccan Chronicle and The New Indian Express. She has written stories on government policies, business, politics, human rights, women and child rights, environment and development issues.
Her web feature on contradictions in Child Marriage laws in India has won her the Laadli Media and Advertising Award for 2013-14 for the Southern Region. She has also done a Fellowship from Asmitha Resource Centre for Women.
Tejaswini has a PG Diploma in Print Journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Bangalore. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Loyola Academy, Hyderabad. Her interests include researching on human rights, sustainable development, environment.
