Project Officer, Fondation Camerounaise de la Terre Vivante
Lucien Yoppa is an environmental officer with almost four years of experience working in addressing environmental issues that hamper communities’ development focusing on waste management, green economy, and climate change adaptation. He is a Project Officer at “Fondation Camerounaise de la Terre Vivante (FCTV)” in charge of planning, supervising, monitoring and evaluating projects’ implementation on the access to basic social services such as clean environment and clean energy of urban slum communities. At FCTV, he works on the waste to wealth project which works to support the establishment of partnerships between small social business & entrepreneurs and local government municipalities in waste management as well as to mobilise communities to tackle waste.
Lucien also volunteers at RAVADEM (Reseau des Acteurs de la Valorisation des Déchets Ménagers) – a local network that develops social entrepreneurship in household waste management. Lucien holds a Master’s degree in Industrial engineering from the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaoundé, has a PMP credential and got achievement awards for effective participation in environmental trainings and conferences.
