The Solid Waste Management Round Table, Bengaluru, India launched a new citizen-led initiative called Swacha Graha to encourage more locals to start a “green spot”. This 3-step process encourages people to compost at home, and grow and cook vegetables grown in their own kitchen garden. Vani Murthy is an urban farmer and active member of the Solid Waste Management Round Table, Bengaluru.
