Nicholas Mallos is a Marine Debris Specialist, who currently works at Ocean Conservancy as the Director of the Trash Free Seas Program. He has spent the past decade researching the ecological, economic and behavioral components associated with ocean plastic pollution.
In keeping with the theme of this month’s Global Dialogue on Waste, we interviewed Nick on the ocean plastic pollution problem with details of the Trash Free Seas Program. He gave us detailed insights into the ocean plastic problem, coastal cleanups and the latest #SkipTheStraw campaign.
