Kirstie Pecci is an environmental, real estate and municipal attorney. In January she launched the Zero Waste Project as part of the Healthy Communities, Environmental Justice Program of the Conservation Law Foundation. The goals of the Zero Waste Project are to reduce Massachusetts’ solid waste and increase its diversion through the institution of Zero Waste programs, to close the most dangerous waste facilities in the state and to create a network of stakeholders to mobilize grassroots power around these issues.
Kirstie earned a degree from Boston College Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. She previously worked as an associate at Nixon Peabody LLP in Boston and as the staff attorney and transportation advocate at Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group (MASSPIRG).
