The imperative priority of addressing waste has emerged in the current global landscape, necessitating the attention of individuals, communities, and nations. Nevertheless, waste management continues to be a challenge for cities in India as a result of the adoption of conventional waste management methods, which have resulted in negative financial gain.

Additionally, it also explored the progress of circular economy initiatives in India and the way in which the Indian government, associations, and corporations are supporting these initiatives through a variety of policies and funding mechanisms.
