Lakshmi Menon is a senior impact and sustainability leader with cross-sector experience spanning technology, social impact, and the creative arts. As Head of Impact at CleanHub, she leads multi-country waste management partnerships across India, Tanzania, and Indonesia, driving stronger environmental outcomes, social compliance, and innovative financing mechanisms such as plastic credits to tackle ocean-bound plastic pollution. She is SA8000-certified in compliance standards for ethical, fair, and inclusive working conditions, and is currently pursuing a master's in Climate Change and Sustainability.
Lakshmi has a proven track record of scaling mission-driven organisations through financially sustainable impact models. As former Chief Operating Officer of Hasiru Dala Innovations, she was central to the organisation's growth, with expertise across strategic planning, operational governance, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and public-sector collaboration. Grounded by an analytical, process-oriented start in the technology sector and deep grassroots experience with informal worker communities, she brings both systems thinking and on-the-ground insight to the conversations she leads.
