Roshna Subedi

Roshna is the General Secretary of CREASION (Centre for Research and Sustainable Development Nepal), a Nepal-based non-profit organisation working to advance environmental sustainability and inclusive, community-driven development. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, giving her a strong academic foundation in environmental sustainability, climate change, natural resource management, and sustainable development. Her professional journey includes experience with organisations such as WWF Nepal and HCI, as well as various national and international organisations, where she has gained expertise in environmental and development programs, research, project implementation, stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and institutional strengthening. In her current role at CREASION, she works across environmental protection, circular economy, climate action, youth engagement, green livelihoods, and local systems strengthening, collaborating with government institutions, development partners, municipalities, communities, civil society, and the private sector. Alongside her environmental work, Roshna has a strong interest in entrepreneurship and has been actively engaged with waste-based and circular economy enterprises, exploring how businesses can turn environmental challenges into sustainable economic opportunities. To strengthen her understanding of business, entrepreneurship, management, and enterprise development, she is currently pursuing an MBA, which complements her environmental background and enables her to bridge sustainability with business and market-based solutions.
