Markets and legislators worldwide have increasing pressure to develop legislation banning single-use plastics. This panel webinar, moderated by Jonathan D. Sally-Anne Käsner, Director, Circular-Vision
Sally-Anne is a Director of Circular-Vision, a Circular Economy strategy and design consultancy. She is passionate about making a positive impact by identifying opportunities to shift circular economy principles into implementation. Her focus is on driving economic, social and environmental prosperity through connecting across the value chain; collaborating on projects; creating new business models that respond to the circular economy principles, leading to a thriving and inclusive economy. A background in waste minimisation and many years in the resource efficiency and cleaner production consulting environment, has provided a sound base from which to work. She was previously an Executive Associate at JG Afrika (an engineering and environmental consultancy), is a founding member and Operational Manager for EcoStandard (083-558-NPO – www.ecostandard.co.za), a founding member of the African Circular Economy Network (195-590-NPO – www.acen.africa), and a Non-Executive Director of Polyco.
Sumangali Krishnan, Chief Business Office, GA Circular
Sumangali Krishnan is the Chief Business Officer at GA Circular (GA) and has developed and led various research, policy and on-ground projects aimed at developing a Circular Economy framework for Asia. Pursuant to a career in corporate law, Sumangali is now actively engaged in exploring research-based solutions to guide policy, behaviour change, and industry-led interventions in South East Asia. Sumangali has a J.D. in Law and a Masters in Economics and has lived and worked in the United States prior to moving to Singapore.

Jonathan Crocker, Partner, Baker & McKenzie
Jonathan provides advice and representation to multinational companies on a variety of environmental and product compliance matters, including extended producer responsibilities, dangerous goods transportation, GHS, regulated wastes, consumer product and food safety, and contaminated lands matters. He assisted in the founding of one of North America’s first Circular Economy Producer Responsibility Organizations and provides advice and representation to a number of domestic and international industry groups in respect of resource recovery obligations. Jonathan was recently appointed the first Sustainability Officer of the International Bar Association.
Jonathan is a frequent speaker and writer on environmental issues and has authored numerous publications including recent publications in the Environmental Liability: Law, Policy and Practice, Environment and Climate Change Law Review, Detritus – the Official Journal of the International Waste Working Group, Chemical Watch, Circular Economy: Global Perspectives published by Springer, and in the upcoming Yale University Journal of Industrial Ecology’s special issue on Material Efficiency for Climate Change Mitigation.
