Senior Project Engineer, GBB

Bradley Kelley, GBB Senior Project Engineer, has over 20 years of engineering design experience and as part of his background for equipment manufacturers he has worked on the concept and design of a multitude of processing systems for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), single stream, construction waste and demolition debris (C&D), biomass, and waste-to-energy projects. As a design engineer, he has utilized 3D computerized drafting technology for both component manufacturing and processing layouts, has hands-on skills with system installations and has experience with hydraulics, electrical, and logic programming. With GBB, Mr. Kelley has been a project manager for a regional single stream feasibility study, and assisted in a local efficiency study of processing and transfer facilities. Mr. Kelley has also been involved in various reports regarding Mixed Waste Processing (MWP) and has authored an article on the importance of understanding the size of material in the waste stream prior to processing. In addition, Mr. Kelley has been the AutoCAD GIS mapping user to develop regional maps for several different local and regional clients. Mr. Kelley recently spoke at WasteExpo on a MWP panel and gave out data on what is in the waste and what can be recovered. Prior to joining GBB, Mr. Kelley was Sales Design Engineer at Bulk Handling Systems, a firm that designs, engineers, manufactures, and installs sorting and handling systems throughout the world for the recycling, solid waste, demolition, and power generation industries. Previously, he was Senior Mechanical Engineer at West Salem Machinery, Inc., a manufacturer of grinding, screening, and conveying equipment for the biomass and lumber industry. Before that, he was Mechanical Drafter and Project Engineer for various manufacturers of machinery, where he designed a range of high-end automated equipment.
