Terri-Anne Carter-La Fon holds the post of Recycling and Recovery Manager at the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited (SWMCOL). She is responsible for the recovery and processing of Recyclables at SWMCOL’s pilot Material Recovery Depots at the Forres Park and Guanapo sites, and the Recovery operations at SWMCOL’s NAMDEVCO site which houses the PET Washline, the first of its kind in the English speaking the Caribbean. Her most recent engagement was the portfolio of Acting General Manager Operations, which involved oversight of the three major landfills in Trinidad, and responsibility for the management of SWMCOL’s fleet. Terri Anne has been intimately involved in the Environmental sector for the last 20 years and has represented the country at conferences and training sessions both regionally and internationally. Her motivation is the desire to see cultural change regarding waste disposal habits within the psyche of citizens of our country.
