Gurpreet Singh is a community mobilization and sensitization expert specializing in rural waste management. At Barefoot College, a grassroot organization, he designs, implements, and scales solid waste management programs in rural Rajasthan, promoting waste reduction, segregation, treatment, and sustainable disposal. Gurpreet work focuses on capacity building and circular economy solutions, developing training modules and awareness sessions for schools and communities to enable them to independently manage waste programs in their schools and villages. Gurpreet is awarded by the government administration for spreading awareness and driving community action in creating waste free communities.
