Prof. Paul H. Brunner is considered to be the father of material flow analysis methodology in urban metabolism and industrial ecology. He is the Head of the Institute for Water Quality, Resource and Waste Management at Vienna University of Technology.
He is the Co-author of the book Metabolism of the Anthroposphere: Analysis, Evaluation, Design.
