Saiba is a Programme Associate with the Sustainable Water Programme at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). She is currently working on the circular economy in used water management. She is engaged with urban local bodies for city-level planning for the reuse of treated water. She is an urban planner and Architect with a background in urban development policies.
Saiba formerly worked at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) on drafting the Master Plan for Delhi 2041 in association with the Delhi Development Authority. Saiba has also been associated with the Sustainable Cities Integrated Approach Pilot in India, implemented by UNIDO and UN-Habitat.
Saiba holds a Master's in Urban Planning and Policy Design from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and a Bachelor's in Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon, India.
