Dr. Scott Kaufman, is the Co-Founder of PeerAspect LLC and a former Research Associate of the Earth Engineering Center, Columbia University. He was also a Professor of Industrial Ecology at Columbia University’s Earth and Environmental Engineering department. His research includes paper recycling in North America and quantifying the sustainability of waste management systems using both recycling rates and waste-to-energy recovery rates. His company PeerAspect LLC is building a network of experts who can help with life cycle analyses and verify sustainability models.
