Supriya Bhadakwad is a waste picker, and a board member of SWaCH, Pune. As a part of the Kagad Kach Patra Kashtkari Panchayat waste-picker union, she has attended the U.N. climate conference in Cancun in 2010. She also spoke about paving the aolutions Path to climate change at the COP21 UN Climate Change Conference in París.
