Trained as a Soil Scientist at Newcastle, UK and Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Tim Evans founded Tim Evans environment in 1999 to provide independent advice to assist clients to sustainable solutions for organic residuals. He worked with a wide range of clients and on projects including technology assessment, competitor analysis, routes to market for companies with innovations and for clean-tech investors. He has been tracking research into options for managing food waste since 2000 and has published peer-reviewed papers and conference proceedings on the subject. Prior to this, 24 years of his work with Thames Water included creating and managing a quality assured, environmentally controlled biosolids recycling program (included field trials into benefits and risks) for 6.5 million people and 300+ wastewater treatment works. He currently Chairs CIWEM’s Wastewater Management Panel and is the Wastewater Lead for Foundation for Water Research.
