Veronica is a waste management and, more broadly, environmental and social professional with 17 years of experience in improving practices and delivering infrastructure projects in Africa, Asia and South America.
Between 2017 and 2021, she has been a member of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team at British International Investment (BII), where she has also been the lead for circular economy. This has meant working with private sector actors to provide guidance on improved waste management practices and identify opportunities for circularity across the sectors of manufacturing, agriculture, real estate and infrastructure.
Veronica is also passionate about building capacities of actors in both the private and public arena on the topics of circular economy and ESG and she has led the development of of knowledge sharing products in the area of waste management
