Brajesh Kr. Dubey

Dr. Brajesh Dubey is an Environmental Engineer, Educator, Researcher, Trainer and Consultant in the area of Circular Engineering, Environmental Engineering Sciences and Health, presently at IIT Kharagpur, WB, India. Dr. Dubey has received his PhD in Environmental Engineering Sciences from University of Florida. He has been working in this field since 1997. His interests includes Integrated Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Sustainable Emgineering, Circular Economy and Decarbonization of Urban Infrastructure. In addition, he has worked on Environmental Risk and Exposure Assessment: Fate, Transport and Biological Availability of Emerging Contaminants in different Environmental Systems and Sustainable Environmental Technologies. Dr. Dubey has worked with several government agencies in many countries on various environmental projects and has authored/co-authored more than 250 publications in his area of expertise and has presented at several national and international conferences and has assisted United Nations, National Geographic Society and World Bank as a specialist in environmental projects in emerging/developing countries. He has received several awards and recoginition including of Endeavour Executive Fellow from Department of Education and Training, Australian Government for his work in the area of sustainable engineering, Integrated Waste Management and circular economy. He enjoys working on challenging projects with industry and government agencies and is passionate on improving waste management infrastructure around the globe and specifically for emerging economies, including his home country, India.
