Jane Olley

Coordinator of the Regional Initiative, Inclusive Recycling

Jane Olley is the Coordinator of the Regional Initiative for Inclusive Recycling a joint program of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, the Water and Sanitation Division of the IDB, the Avina Foundation and The Coca-Cola Company which aims to help improve access for informal recyclers to markets for recycled materials in Latin America and the Caribbean. The program has so far supported projects in 10 countries in the region. Ms Olley holds Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering (University of Cambridge) and in Water & Environmental Management (WEDC, Loughborough University) in the UK. Subsequently specializing in solid waste management (SWM), she has 19 years’ experience in the design and implementation of international SWM projects in 21 countries worldwide.
