Waste Sector Manager, Methane Pollution Prevention, Clean Air Task Force
Kait Siegel is the Waste Sector Manager on the Methane Pollution Prevention team at the Clean Air Task Force. In this role, she supports the team in advancing strategies and policies to reduce waste methane emissions globally. Prior to joining CATF, Kait worked at Abt Associates as a Climate Policy Specialist, where she supported U.S. federal, state, and international clients in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions – primarily methane and other short-lived climate pollutants from waste and agriculture. Her work also focused on understanding the co-benefits of climate mitigation and adaptation actions.
Kait received a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. She also holds a B.A. from Siena College in biology.
