Mike Webster has 22 years of experience within the global waste and resources sector, the last four years for Project STOP, the last three based in Indonesia. He co-founded and developed award-winning charity WasteAid as first Chief Executive and in 2018 was voted by peers as the top waste and resource influencer in the UK and received the President’s Medal from the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management. In 2022 he won the International Solid Waste Association publication award. He has developed and grown not-for-profit consultancy, charity and ethical business and networking organisations in the South and South-East Asia, South Pacific, Latin America and eight sub-Saharan African countries, managing ground-breaking projects delivering waste livelihoods, community waste management and research.
